The Nitrogen Dioxide SS sensor is a unique design of high performance electrochemical gas sensor with a low ppb range option of 0-5ppm NO2. Maximum overload is 10ppm NO2.
The size of this sensor and its high quality solid state technology with long lifetime makes it a popular choice for digital, wireless and small portable equipment. With resolution of < 0.005ppm NO2, it is an ideal sensor solution for measuring air quality down to ppb levels.
Utilising solid electrolyte, the Micro sensors offer a number of technological benefits:
- Solid electrolyte is easier to handle with no housing or reservoir required, so there is no possibility of leakage.
- The sensor can be provided in different packages, providing cost advantages for instrumentation and volume production when required.
- The reading is fast with immediate adjustment to humidity and quick adjustment to temperature.
- Production is fully automated ensuring quality and stability.
- Lifetime is in excess of 3 years.
- Response time of T50 <20 seconds and T90 <60 seconds.
- Ideal for outdoor and indoor air quality with ppb resolution of < 0.005ppm NO2.

- Please note: for air applications with standard environmental humidity, this sensor offers full datasheet specification. As this is solid state technology, the sensor is unsuitable for continous dry gas flow applications, unless a suitable waterbed or humidifier is utilised.
